The launching of Alkitab Suci (BM) of the New Testament by Bishop of KUching, the Rt. Rev’d Danald Jute, was held at St. Thomas’s Cathedral during the Evensong Service at 5.30pm on 21st July 2019. It is the first launching in Sarawak. The Holy bible is translated by The Bible Society of Malaysia and is on the New Testament. Various representatives from other denominations were present with the BM Bible. The Rev’d Mathew Punoose, secretary of Bible Society of Malaysia preached during the service. After the serviced ended, the congregations were treated with refreshment in the Parish Hall with Bishop Danald, Dean Kho Thong Meng and the BSM guests.
