The Anglican Prayer Movement & Mobilization members led by Rev’d Ivor Lim held its 4th meeting outside Kuching at St. John’s Church, Sibu on 25th October 2018 from 7.30pm. The theme for the prayer was ‘Reaching out to God and becoming a part of the church’. “My Grace is sufficient for you” (2 Cor 12:9).
19 members from St. Faith and St. Thomas’s Cathedral including Rev’d Sika came to join in this inter church fellowship of prayer. Around 80 persons attended the prayer in unity to the Lord.
St. John’s Church has generously prepared dinner for the visitors at 6pm and fellowship with the vicar and some of the church members before the prayer session started.
APMM pamphlets and prayer points were handed out to everyone. Sister Christine Lim said the opening prayer followed by Praise and Worship from the St. John choir team. The vicar, Rev’d Ramdan Mejem gave the welcoming speech to the visitors.
Bishop Danald praised God for the fellowship and prayed for his wonderful gift of grace through Christ in our life. There is no greater love than God’s Love. Prayer is in communication with God from our heart. Salvation is God’s gift. All that we do, give thanks to God. Pray God’s Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in our prayer life.
Rev’d Ivor Lim, the APMM Coordinator of Diocese Kuching, introduced the Kuching APMM members and shared about the objectives of APMM. APMM aims to build up a sustainable and powerful prayer culture in the Anglican Church.
Rev’d Ivor spoke in English and Bro. Frankie translated in Dayak and BM.
Its objectives are :

- To mobilise church members to prayer and sharing their faith in the Lord Jesus.
